Our answer

Nigella's No-Fuss Fruit Tart (from KITCHEN) is so called as the crust is an east press-in affair made from biscuit crumbs and the filling a combination of cream cheese and lemon curd. In the recipe Nigella suggests topping the tart with berries. These are easy to prepare as most berries just need a quick wash and dry, but you can use any seasonal fruits that you may have.

From the list given, any of the fruits would be suitable but you may need to cut some into slices or chunks and remove any inedible skin or core/pips. The fruit should be put on the tart just before serving. Bear in mind that some fruits brown fairly quickly once cut, such as pears, bananas and apples. You can toss them in a litle lemon juice after cutting to help to slow this process down. For decorating inspiration you may like to look at the photos of the entries to the August 2020 COOKALONG.
