I had a blast hand carving these Halloween cookies. Making the right consistency of royal icing was quite the struggle for the first time. Although far from perfect I must admit I love my cookies the way they turned out. I made two batches, one with chocolate and one vanilla. Now that I discovered icing thanks to this recipe, a lot of baked goods are in danger of being decorated to extent.
