I made this for my wife’s birthday and she was delighted with crisp yet melt-in-the-mouth shortbread. In Malaysia where we stay, strawberries are imported and mostly too tangy. To overcome this I added 1 tbsp clover honey to the filling and this absolutely took the strawberry filling to the next level! Absolute Awesomeness.
