Roses are red, violets are blue, these Love Buns are lactose-free too! Many in my family are lactose intolerant, so any recipe I use needs to be adjusted for that. With this recipe I substituted the milk with lactose-free milk, and the butter with a dairy-free margarine. The cakes are light and fluffy, so I'm happy with the result. And a naturally dairy-free icing that is this easy to make, and looks so fun is always going to be a hit with us!
