I used 200ml warm milk and put yeast into it with some sugar and let it get foamy. 400ml milk is absolutely too much for 600gr flour. I made half of buns with apples. I sliced 3-pilled apples and fried with 3 tablespoons of brown sugar until soft. Added some cinnamon and spread on half of the dough. Buns were delicious.
