This year I'm doing a new thing, every day, for 366 days. Today's new thing was making these heavenly cinnamon buns using my well-thumbed copy of How To Be a Domestic Goddess, a book that has been with me through university, new houses, marriage, and life in a new country, with the dirty marks to prove it. I've never made anything like this before, so I stuck diligently to the recipe, and although I wasn't sure how they'd turn out, they are incredible - my husband and I did a happy dance in the kitchen!
