I found it extremely enjoyable to make this Easter cake. I made the recipe completely dairy free (minus the m&ms on top) as we have a lactose intolerant person in the family. My Mum, Sister and I went to ‘An evening with Nigella’ last February and absolutely adored it! My mum and I have been watching the Cooking shows since I was really little, your recipes were the start of my love for cooking! Mum and I love to watch and cook your recipes together! Unfortunately at the end of the show, we were unable to buy a book to get signed, (Mum was going to buy the latest one, as she has most of the other ones at home but they were sold out) it was the only unfortunate thing about the whole evening, but if I am lucky enough to win, this book will definitely be given to her as a much deserved Mother’s Day present! Sorry I rambled a bit there! But the whole family is in love with this recipe! Will definitely be making it again!
