I first visited England from Poland on my student summer break and spent long hours picking strawberries in Somerset. I remember the first time I had tried scones, in a countryside tearoom, and every time I have them again brings me back to that moment. Serving them now with my homemade rose petal jam, reminds me of my Gran and her baking. Sweet memories, now will be often repeated as this recipe turned out to be a delicious success.
