Dedicated this rose and pepper pavlova with mangoes and strawberries to my daughters'caring and loving father and all the wonderful dads on Father's day. My husband is the best and hardest critic of my food and he loved my first attempt at pavlova with this recipe. The result is wonderful crispy crust with a lovely soft center. I am from Raebareli,a small town in Uttar Pradesh,India. Not much available here in terms of baking resources. It's not the season of strawberries here these days -mango is the king of fruits in the summer here. It's sweet fragrance flows in the air. So I used luscious mangoes for topping and make delicious syrup from the frozen strawberries from my refrigerator. This combination turned out to be superb. Cheers to all the beautiful families, enjoying delicious treats together.
