Tea and cake is more than merenda time, it’s soul time, soulmate time, often me-time (when I can brag about my baking efforts)! I didn’t have crème fraîche (30%fat), I substituted it with a mix of double cream (50% fat) and soured cream (14% fat). I also added a spoon of Cointreau, just to make it wonderful!
