During these turbulent and unprecedented times making the old fashioned sandwich loaf took a dull Sunday afternoon to another level!!! I mixed and kneaded the dough feeling a sense of achievement as everything was going so smoothly. The excitement of seeing my loaf gloriously rise in the oven, having never attempted any form of bread making before gave me sheer delight. After baking I photographed with great proudness and it tasted wonderful. I will certainly be making again.
