I am not an experienced bread maker but when I woke to a cold dreary winter day I thought avacado toast would make a perfect lunch. Rummaging through the refrigerator I found some sour cream that needed to be used and thought "perfect - I can do this!". The recipe and directions were straightforward. I was a bit worried about the dough raising as the kitchen was a little chilly, but it went just fine. I really enjoyed the warmth and smell the baking made throughout the house. Even better was biting into the crisp crunchy crust and nicely textured center of the bread - with a bit of olive oil, smashed avocado and a touch of flake salt it was even better. Even if I do not win the contest this was perfection.
