
Dear Nigella and Team! Thank you for this lovely recipe! It was a total hit on my father-in-law's Birthday and we decided that it will become our staple for B-days from now on. I added some chopped banana to the first layer of the cake and it turned out even more delicious! I also used, please don't judge me, margarine instead of regular butter for the peanut cream because my boyfriend is not fan! I also had some Hershey's peanut butter and pretzel chocolate left over which I crushed over the peanuts. Since we have access here in Japan, I got my hands on some goldleaf hearts, not sure if you can notice with the peanuts. I got to say though that I almost gave up because my hand mixer broke down on me while I was beating the cream, but alas, the love for my family persevered!
