My Heart to Hart cake - Hart is a district in Ireland and also a not uncommon surname. Grand-daughter Amy helped with the icing. Guinness cake is a family favourite and the birthday cake of choice for Mums, Dads and five grandchildren, with ages ranging from eight to 15. Two grandchildren have birthdays to celebrate with their favourite cake on Friday and Saturday of this week. Unfortunately, I can only admire their cakes from afar. Now where's that pint of Guinness?..... Mike Wood, aged 76 and unelected chairman of the family's Guinness Fan Club. Nigella, of course, is President (no election necessary!).
