Loved the recipe, so simple and easy to make. Did need to bake it for 1 hour and fifteen minutes in my oven but beyond that the recipe was used exactly as is! The icing was amazing and is probably going to become my go to icing from now on. Put together, it was a delicious cake and will definitely be made again in my house. I wanted to add a touch of green in celebration of St Patrick's day but keep close to the authentic flavor of the cake and theme. I love salted pistachios with chocolate so chose them as my green element. A subtle flavor that I felt enhanced the chocolate taste and brought the desert to an elegant finish.
