Here in Melbourne Australia we are in our 4th strict lockdown. Making this cake was a joy and a welcome distraction from being unable to leave the house. Made the cake as per recipe and decorated with candied pear slices, pistachio dust, powder sugar and the sweetest smelling dried rose petals. The lighting in my house is terrible, I may have borrowed the neighbours garden to take the photo in natural light. Shhhh! Lol
