I had the most wonderful time recreating Nigellas fantastic vanilla layer cake with ermine icing. Was my first time trying Ermine Icing and I loved it and would definitely make it again. I added pink colouring, flowers and gold leaf. made the cake as a surprise for my grandmother so I wanted to personalise it by making it special. My whole entire family loved the cake and I cannot wait to make it again. It was an absolute hit. Once again another fantastic recipe from Nigella. I can't wait for the next cook along.
