This was a lovely relaxing recipe. I made the dough the night before and it was a very calming way to wind down in the evening before bed. It came to together easily in the mixer and rose magnificantly overnight. Assembly in the morning was straight forward and it baked quickly. I used hazelnuts in place of almonds and the kitchen smelt amazing during the bake. I brought the tray straight into work.... it went down a treat, just prefect with morning coffee. This was the last slice when I got a chance to try some!!
