Followed the recipe however, I did not use mixed fruit but only sultanas. I soaked the sultanas in Earl Grey Tea, and added some cranberries to the recipe. I also added a few drops of Vanilla Extract to the white crosses on top. Buns were placed on table with store brought buns - guests opinion there was NO comparison! My husband does not like sultanas but ate three of these tasty buns! Thank you Nigella!
