Today I made Nigella’s Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake, requested by our eldest granddaughter for her 16th birthday. We will be taking it with us tomorrow from our home in Northumberland, down to Leeds in West Yorkshire for our family celebrations. As you can see, I decided to dust the cake with edible gold glitter rather than the crushed peanuts as I thought it made it more ‘celebratory’. The photo doesn’t really do it justice but I’m immensely proud of it and I know the family will love it.
