Nigella's Clementine Cake was the perfect cake to celebrate my Sister's birthday. I had to use Blood Oranges as Clementine season sadly over...a hint of vanilla, orange essence with some brown sugar added warmth and subtle flavours. The addition of grated Dark Orange and Almond just as the cake came out of the oven was from Nigella's recipe in Green & Black's cookbook...a lucky find!
