Dear Nigella, Thank you for this recipe for Lily’s Scones. They truly have that dreamy lightness as you described. I’ve made many scones before, but this one is very special. Without folding many layers as I usually do, I followed your instructions, and as they baked, they rose high and held their shape beautifully. The texture is absolutely luxurious, and the taste is slightly savory, which makes them perfect to serve with both savory and sweet accompaniments. Overall, I am very surprised and very happy.
