This is Nigella’s Fatteh, I’ve been making it for years, and it always reminds me of long holiday weekends spent with our good friends with our families all together, eating, drinking. Our best friends moved from South Africa to Scotland in 2019, and I actually took this photo and WhatsApped it to them when I made Fatteh recently as I have not made it in a while. I sent it them as little reminder of our very happy times together and a dish we all loved. And even the platter has a story. I carried it all the way home from a trip to Vietnam, and it is always used when I make this dish.
