Metric Cups
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 can chicken stock (or 3.5 cups of water)
  • soy sauce (a few drops)
  • vegetable oil (a few drops)
  • spring onions (some, finely chopped - or parsley)
  • seasoning
  • 1 pinch of salt

Method

Steamed Eggs With Soya Sauce is a community recipe submitted by carrietse and has not been tested by Nigella.com so we are not able to answer questions regarding this recipe.

  • Beat the eggs thoroughly. Remove the bubbles on top of it. Put salt and mix it with chicken stock. You may use 3.5 cups of water instead of chicken stock.
  • Boil the water with a wok or a steaming pan, put the mixture on a plate and steam for 5 minutes. If using water, steam for 10 minutes.
  • Drizzle on a bit of soy sauce and vegetable oil on top for taste.
  • Sprinkle some finely chopped spring onion/parsley before serving.
