Preheat oven to 140 celius. Line tin with baking paper and butter the sides.Use the cake tin of your choice but adjust time. Place all ingredients is a bowl and beat with an electric mixer for 2 to 3 minutes. Once out of the oven, cool on cake rack. Pour in tin and bake for 30 to 40 minutes.
Introduction
This the frist cake I made (Mum's recipe). I use it for the base cake for brithdays, ect. Just cut to the shape you want.

- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 3 ounces soft butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup milk
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
