Introduction

O kay, only becauce I'm in a VERY happy mood, and a caring and loving mood! I am going to post my to-die-for-chocolate cake (LOL, with all the right ingredients, it may seem wrong when you read it, however bake it first then question the amount! and take 2 hours to cook and YES 2 3/4 cup of sugar! and 1 cup of butter! IT IS SO NAUGHTY BUT SO YUMMY!!!!!!!!!) BTW- if you have any left over, pour a little bit of port or brandy over a slice and some sifted icing sugar over it. Sit down, and enjoy!

Ingredients

Serves: 6

  • 750 all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 688 sugar
  • 125 unsweetened cocoa
  • 3 tablespoons baking powder
  • 3 eggs
  • 63 cream
  • 375 milk
  • 250 softened butter

  • Beat well on medium speed for 5 minutes.
