Metric Cups
  • 20 grams jelly powder
  • 250 millilitres yams
  • 375 millilitres sugar
  • 250 millilitres coconut milk
  • 1 drop purple food colouring
  • 2000 millilitres water
  • 1 ounce jelly powder
  • 8⅘ fluid ounces yams
  • 13⅙ fluid ounces sugar
  • 8⅘ fluid ounces coconut milk
  • 1 drop purple food colouring
  • 70⅕ fluid ounces water

Method

  • Stir in jelly powder into the water and boil until dissolve. Add in sugar. Divide into two parts.
  • The first half, add in coconut milk, colouring and mashed yam. Stir and leave to set.
  • Cut into cubes. Arrange in large square dish.
  • The other half, bring to boil. Pour onto the first part. Leave to set in the refrigerator.
