For people that have a hard time with conversions between metric and imperial measurements. Get a laminating sheet and place a small conversion chart at the bottom and seal. You now have a chart that you can put on any page plus it protects your pages from stains and spills and sticky fingers if you are half way through a recipe and need to convert something!

Show more commentsI have just seen this Tip on weight conversions from cups to metric but that would work if there was a set conversion... but there isn't.... every site you go to has different conversions. I swear by scales and they are so cheap now, but as many European cookbooks give measurements in cups and metric I wish American recipes would too! Or that everybody would start using scales? Cheap, easy to buy and accurate!
