When measuring spoonfuls of syrups or honey use a metal spoon and dip it in hot water first and the syrup will slide off easily I also do this when serving ice cream. Have a jug of just boiled water nearby and quickly dip the spoon in the hot spoon will glide through the ice cream with ease
