Our answer

Nigella's Salted Chocolate Tart (from SIMPLY NIGELLA) has a gluten-free filling as it is made with cornflour (cornstarch). The crust is made with a mixture of Oreo sandwich cookies, chocolate, smoked salt and butter.

Oreo do not make a gluten-free cookie themselves, but there are some similar gluten-free sandwich cookies available. The closest we could find are Schar Gluten-Free Chocolate O's, which are available on-line and you may also find them in some natural food stores or speciality sections of the supermarket. You can also find various brands of gluten-free bourbon biscuits on-line and these would also be a good alternative. The gluten-free cookies should work in the same way as the Oreos, but once you have processed the mixture to crumbs take a little and press it between your fingers to see if it holds together. If it is very crumbly then you may need to add an extra 15-25g (1-2 tablespoons) butter to help the mixture to bind slightly more once it is pressed into the tart tin.
