Dear Nigella team, I would like to know what brand and if possible which model of gas stove Nigella uses in the series 'Nigella Bites'?
Our answer
Nigella uses a built in gas hob in Nigella Bites and has also used the same hob in Nigellissima. The hob is around 70cm wide and was made by Smeg but unfortunately as the hob is quite old that particular model is no longer made by the company.
Smeg do make some similar models and the closest would be the Classic Aesthetic SE70SX-5 or the Cucina SR275XGH. Both of these have stainless steel bases and one comes with stainless steel pan stands whilst the other has cast iron pan stands.
