Our answer

Nigella's Greek Squid And Orzo (from SIMPLY NIGELLA) is a one-pot dish of braised squid served with orzo pasta that is cooked in the same pan and absorbs all of the flavours.

Dill has a very mild anise flavour. If you dislike dill we slightly wonder if you will like the overall dish as the ouzo and fennel also add notes of anise. But if you want to dial down the dill then we would suggest using the fronds from the bulb of fennel plus another herb. Parsley would probably be the best option as it will compliment the other flavours of the dish without overwhelming them and will also go well with Parmesan, should you wish to serve cheese alongside.
