Our answer

Nigella's Gluten-Free Banana Bread will delight everyone. The combination of banana, yogurt and almonds helps to keep the bread moist and the yogurt helps to give the bread a light crumb. The slight acidic tang of the yogurt also helps to cut through the sweetness of the banana.

It should be possible to use a dairy-free alternative to the Greek yogurt. Soya yogurt has a fat content closest to Greek yogurt so may be the best alternative to use. The higher fat content of coconut milk yogurt could make the bread feel very slightly heavier, though you could certainly try this alternative if you prefer. Use a plain or natural and usweetened version of the yogurt. Plant-based yogurts can naturally taste slightly sweeter, though we doubt that it would affect the taste of the banana bread too much. Please note however that as we have not tried the banana bread with these alternatives we are unable to guarantee the results.
