This is my coffee walnut layer cake, and I send you this entry from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I only have a very small portable oven at my home, so I decided to bake mini cakes for individual portions, so they look a bit like square muffins with a caramel glazed walnut to top it off! But they are really ready-portioned cakes. I have added a little brandy to the cake mix and frosting for a little "wow". These cakes were made to give to my friend as present to celebrate her new born baby. So this is the baby cake, which is a good excuse for them being mini! They're very indulgent for an important celebration.
