I was truly tempted to soak it a little bit with Cointreau, and I'm so glad I didn't. The cake is scrumptious and velvety smooth, and I didn't mind the house smelling beautifully either. One of the easiest cakes I have attempted, and it will for sure become a winter/seasonal favorite.
