The Nigella Lawson Yule Log, my very first attempt. I added some extra dark chocolate to the bark for extra texture. My 32 year-old cousin and I were so excited when I sprinkled on the icing sugar: "it's my first white Christmas!", he exclaimed. For Australians - living in our part of Sydney through weeks of bushfires and about to hit four days over 40°C - it would have been a dream come true.
