I used raspberries to cut the sweetness and some "Fios de Ovos" (egg threads: chiefly yolks, drawn into thin strands and boiled in sugar syrup.) to lift some of the bitterness from the chocolate and for some texture. And of course a glass of Porto always goes very well with a chocolate cake!
