I was able to procure the blackberries from some wild vines behind our local library in the PNW. Bringing them home and finding a simple yet elegant way to use them was a delight. All the ingredients I had on hand. I made it as written- no changes- although my pantry cornmeal was a "coarse" variety. It helped me realize that cooking can be somewhat effortless and add a touch of class to the ordinary. Thank You Nigella.
