These cookies dress up a festive table and are delicious! Some are exotic and orange at heart, some are native and currant. I dressed some of them in light candied coarse hazelnuts to bring to light the hidden 'crux of the matter' and get them extravagant and rich with hazelnuts. This is my take on this cookalong recipe. I love Nigella and would love to have her book to prepare next generations to cook real food. Till then, my family will enjoy " the melting tenderness and celestial lightness of the Linzer cookie".
