This was the first time I was making any kind of bread. I was a little apprehensive at first as I did not have bread flour as mentioned in the recipe (it's not easily available here in the stores too). I really wanted to take part in this contest, so decided to go ahead with the all purpose flour I had handy. Just added a little multi grain flour in it. Also instead of spoilt milk used a combination of full fat milk and 1tsp vinegar. I also used salted butter instead of unsalted. The dough though was a little sticky to my liking, next time maybe I'll use the wet ingredients just enough to form a soft dough. But the bread turned out so very good... soft and pillowy. The first time I ever made bread and it turned out so well. Thank you Nigella for this amazing recipe, will definitely make it again. (P.S: this loaf did not last for even a day at my house... All gone...enjoyed by everyone).
