I love the darkness of this cake. As I cooked the cake batter on the stove it was like stirring a dark night. The Guinness intensified the cocoa and made it so rich. As it baked my family breathed in the yumminess. It was hard to get a picture before the cake was cut and eaten with many oohs and mmms. A treat for St Patrick’s day.
