These are my husband’s hands, cutting into my version of Nigella’s Malteser Cake, made for his birthday on September 10th. He’s had a pretty rubbish year, health-wise, but insisted that the cake made him feel a lot better - and a bit less old! It was easy to make; the recipe is clear AND if you buy a large bag of Maltesers, you get to eat them as you decorate the top!
