This week I turn 50! To celebrate my love of Nigella's recipes (a godsend during many a Melbourne lockdown), and with a nod to my Irish heritage (My Mum is from Northern Ireland), I made this cake created to mirror a glass of Guinness for my birthday. The moist, chocolate cake just melted in our mouths and was complemented perfectly with the creamy frosting! Sadly I missed out on tickets to your upcoming lunch in Melbourne, but fingers crossed my cake and story might help me win this months competition. Good luck everyone!
