As I haven't found guiness in the local shop (what a shame:), I used Karamalz, a non-alcoholic beverage, similar to dark beer. It works perfectly. As this wasn't the first time I baked this cake, I thougt it would be even more exciting to top it with salted caramel, and I was right!
