Victoria Sponge has always been my favorite, and not just in summer but during any time of the year. It was a rainy day when I took the picture. So we got sprinkles of water on the cake!!! But the sponge and cream and strawberries never fail you!!! Also, the raw batter of this sponge is my absolute favorite!
