This month’s Cookalong is Nigella’s Victoria Sponge, a right royal layered affair, to share at the finest of afternoon teas. It’s up to you as to whether you use a processor to make the sponge layers or just make them the old-fashioned way by hand. We’re also giving you a choice as to how you fill your sponge cake - Nigella gives advice in the recipe introduction, so see what suits or inspires you! Get baking and then photograph your Victoria Sponge, add your caption, then send it to us, and you will then be in the running to win a signed book of Nigella’s. We will upload your entry, and will announce the winner at the beginning of next month.
