
Still going strong with my New Year’s resolution to join every Nigella Cookalong this year. This time I made a mini version of the cake, halving the ingredients – it turned out perfectly sized for four. I swapped the bees for homemade honeycomb, and served the cake for Children’s Day. The contrast between the rich chocolate glaze and the golden shards on top made it festive and fun, and the texture worked beautifully too. Already looking forward to next month.
