This Christmas treat is made with Nigella’s old fashioned chocolate cake recipe but it’s anything but. Inside this mirror glazed dome is a base layer of that wonderful cake, a layer of pistachio and kataifi inspired by Dubai Chocolate, a layer of clementine gelee and a layer of chocolate ganache, all surrounded by a lovely chocolate mousse. Oh, and the pinecones are ganache with sliced almonds dipped in chocolate. I’m happy with it!
