Nigella’s Christmas Cake from Nigella Christmas (our go-to book for festive food) is an integral part of the festive season in our house. Usually we’d decorate with glacé fruits, but this year we decided to go gaudy and bright with coloured fondant. We found some Christmas tree cookie cutters, which we’ve used to slot together fondant into 3D trees to sit atop the snowy white icing.
