Nigella's quick and easy Sesame Peanut Noodles always tend to be the perfect fix for an express lunch, however some added warmth is simply essential to endure these crisp winter days. Adding a heavier dash of chilli oil to the recipe's creamy peanut base gives a much needed wave of heat. For some temperature, I heat the oil and chilli in a wok, tossing in the vegetables with the addition of bok choy for some extra crunch, before making sure the noodles are fully coated. I find that the extra kick of heat and the richness of the salad work wonders to help get through what can feel like a long first month of the year.
